Anders Ørgård Hansen

Anders Ørgård Hansen holds a master’s degree in Naval Architecture and Engineering from the Technical University of Denmark. Until 2003, he worked as manager of Knud E. Hansen A/S, Naval Architects, Copenhagen.

Since 2003, Anders Ørgård Hansen has been Managing Director and owner of OSK-ShipTech A/S, which is today one of the leading marine consultancy companies in Denmark. As a result of this work, he was recently recommended as fellow of the Royal Institute of Naval Architects in London.

Anders Ørgård Hansen has been consultant and project manager on a number of projects related to design and contract negotiations for new building projects. He holds a number of positions on international boards and committees, e.g. board member of the Danish Society for Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering, board member of DNV Ferry Committee and member of Interferry, where he is active in the World Ferry Safety Committee and represents the organisation at IMO in London.
