1979 Research assistant at Department of Ocean Engineering, Technical University of Denmark.
1980 Project manager at Danish Ship Research Laboratory, Lyngby. Responsible for ship model tests including cavitation tests.
1981 Consulting naval architect at Dwinger Marineconsult A/S. Involved in several ship projects and many kinds of investigations and feasibility studies on shipping (stability, manoeuvrability, model tests, strength calculations, vibration analysis etc.)
1995 Naval architect at the ferry company Scandlines. Responsible for the development and construction of several large Ro-Ro passenger ferries and the introduction of high speed ferries on several routes in Denmark
1998 Employed by the Danish Shipowners´ Association. Responsible for new technical legislation, especially ship stability. Also involved in different projects on new environmental legislation for operation of high speed ferries in Denmark
2001 Employed by the Danish Naval Material Command. Involved in R&D activities, including the development of new advanced hull forms for naval vessels. Also involved in the development of several new naval vessels for the Danish Navy.
2007 Senior project manager at FORCE Technology (the Danish ship model basin) in the department of ship hydrodynamics and aerodynamics.
2007 Employed as part time external professor at Department of Ocean Engineering, Technical University of Denmark. Teaching within naval architecture.
