Carl Erik Egeberg

Mr Carl-Erik Egeberg, Senior Vice President, Tecnical Director, Engineering

Carl-Erik Egeberg received his degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Engineering Academy of Denmark in 1967 and joined MAN B&W Diesel shortly after as Mechanical Engineer. He quickly got involved in design office planning as well as development and implementation of computerised systems in the design office. Further, he has served as an instructor in the Marine Engineers’ Training Courses.

In 1975, he was appointed Department Manager of a part of the design department and in 1978, he became responsible for the entire Two-stroke Design Department. In 1990 he was appointed Vice President and Technical Director of Engineering. He is a member of the Institute of Marine Engineers, London and holds a censorship at the Technical University of Denmark. Further, he is member of Lloyd’s Technical Committee, Lloyd’s Nordic Committee, Member of Nordic Safety at Sea Committee, DNV, Chairman of CIMAC Denmark and member of the Board of Governors of the Engineering College of Copenhagen.
