The Confederation of European Maritime Technology Societies
DSNAME is a part of The Confederation of European Maritime Technology Societies (CEMT). CEMT is an independent confederation of professional institutions, who are involved in education and professional development, and learned societies, who are facilitating the exchange of information in the area of maritime technology. CEMT is recognised by the European Commission.
Through its member Societies which come from France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Serbia, Turkey the UK and, of course, Denmark, CEMT is able to call upon the knowledge, skills and experience of over 30,000 professional naval architects, marine engineers and others in the field of maritime technology, involved in all aspects of the European maritime industry.
Each year, CEMT presents an award to an individual or an organisation which it considers has made a significant contribution to the success of the European maritime industry. The purpose of the Award to both recognise and to encourage such achievement by others.

The World Maritime Technology Conference
The World Maritime Technology Conference is held once every three years under the auspices of the World Maritime Technology Congress, with the organisation of the event carried out by a member Society. There are 21 member Societies representing 17 different countries.
WMTC is a gathering of the world's Maritime Technical Associations, whose members are involved in specification, design, operation and maintenance of all things Marine World-Wide. With innovative paper presentation and teaching throughout the venue, from class settings to innovation sessions, demonstrations and exhibit hall, this event is sure to draw a valuable audience.
